We hit Oscar Gold!

So I'm now officially credited as a Visual Effects Artist on an Academy Award winning film. Golden Compass was awarded an Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects. How crazy is that!?! Not that I deserve much credit. I was there for about 6 months and did around 8 shots in the film. I'm sure my 8 shots were what pushed it over the top for the big win! :P

Kung Fu Panda on Kung Fu Animation

Dreamworks sent out some animated gif signatures today so I thought I would share. I know you'll all be using them to sign e-mails until the movie comes out in June. I've been previewing shots from KFP and it really looks fantastic. Jack Black is a great voice talent and the Glendale crew is doing a wonderful job.
