We hit Oscar Gold!
So I'm now officially credited as a Visual Effects Artist on an Academy Award winning film. Golden Compass was awarded an Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects. How crazy is that!?! Not that I deserve much credit. I was there for about 6 months and did around 8 shots in the film. I'm sure my 8 shots were what pushed it over the top for the big win! :P

Congrats Tom! I actually got to put my grubby little hands on the Oscar. Bill W. and his Oscar spent the entire day taking pictures with the R&H crew. Even though I had absolutely nothing to do with the movie, it was still pretty cool to hold the little guy.
Yeah, the guys told me about that. That's really cool of Bill. I'm jealous. I would have probably dropped the thing anyway. :P
